While driving home from wrestling this evening, I drifted back to 9yo's ongoing monologue to hear him say, "...octagons. There's a lot of shapes out there!!"

From there, he started naming shapes. "First a dot, then a line, then a triangle, then a square, then a pentagon..."

I helped him with some of the more obscure shape names. When he got to octagon again, he said, "So many gons. Octagon, you have like a 1,000 brothers!!"
