Today's #OneGoodThing:


9yo wanted to walk home by himself today. It was a lovely afternoon--until the heavens opened up right as school was dismissed. I drove quickly down to the school. 9yo was confused to see me there and also assured me he wasn't made of spun sugar and wouldn't melt. (Well, not in so many words.)


He got home triumphant and dripping about 20 minutes later and my heart about burst.
